You are hearing a lot about integration within Veretekk especially with the launch of V2. But most people do not fully grasp the term and how it plays in V2. Let me try to illustrate this powerful aspect of V2.

A note about my background and experience: I started into Marketing at a very young age. In a thumbnail, I was born to be an artist. My parents were horrified about this claiming that artist starve to death. This freaked me out. So I bought many books on marketing art and marketing in general. One of those books, "Confessions of an Advertising Man", by David Ogilvy I purchased in 1980. That book changed my life. In 1984 Soon after I acquired my first computer and the quest to merge was on.

I coined the term back in the 90s as Data Base Marketing, but today, with the advent of a progressing Internet, and related technologies, what was a tactical or strategic action in the 80s today is represented by a digital counterpart.

Today's Internet Marketer is by far a lot less qualified to be in marketing than his counterpart 20 years ago. Today one can just claim to be an SEO master or an Internet Marketer simply because the information to discover the basics and intricacies to do so are at everyone's fingertips. This does not diminish the effectiveness of today's marketer over the marketing agency of 20 years ago, it just establishes that things have changed on a massive scale.

20 years ago it took a Marketing Department to accomplish what most Internet marketers set upon themselves to do today on their own. (This is why so many fail and/or have a chronic case of ADD; Attention Deficit Disorder). NOTE: "I suffer from this myself"

The marketing tools of the Internet, the ability to measure results, the ability to research on the Internet is a dream come true to a seasoned and long time experienced ad man as myself. But it also brings with it a serious risk potential and that is the undertaking of keeping track of and updating each of the aspects that compromise Internet Marketing today.

Back before the Internet an ad agency had many people for each respective responsibility, one department for sending direct mail, another for tradeshows and conferences and yet another for display advertising and printed material, press releases, radio ads, conventions, etc.....

This is why the majority of Internet marketers are tactical (focused mostly on one aspect like SEO) instead of being strategic, having a full focus of research, analysis, multifaceted campaigns using all the tools required for full scale Internet marketing, keeping it organized and processing the constant information caused by such a campaign.

Tools ie:

• Hosting for domains and websites

• Auto responders email for follow-up communications

• Web Conference Rooms for live meetings, educational seminars, training connecting.

• SEO systems, back links, authority sites, forums, blogs, etc.

• Display advertising

• A social networking system and management

• Lead generating systems or resources for a steady inventory of leads.

• Contact data management system, calendars, reminders component.

The need to integrate all these aspects is paramount otherwise the marketing campaign is limited to a tactical approach, with poor management and even worse results. IE: hit and miss attempts, scattered approaches caused by lack of a solid strategy, impulsively running from one idea to another, the results are mediocre at best and worse, forgetting what was done in the past as this method also lacks tracking the posts, ads, and tactics, etc. used.

I have seen competent SEO marketers run from one domain to another, buying more domains and creating sites just for posting more content on pointing to other sites pointing to other sites creating a mass of gibberish that at best might increase an Alexa ranking to some degree but never really amounting to anything but time wasted.

This same phenomena can be seen with many people on the Internet running from one business idea or opportunity to the other. With no clear-cut objective, this is why most Internet marketers fail.

When you integrate the entire process, from research analysis (keeping track of that), keyword analysis, targeted content, pre written letters ready for your sequential mail auto responders, team building with a symbiotic group, videos and audio animations and screen captured demos, capture pages (tested with your group in our Bull Pen: focus groups increase the overall effectiveness of design and strategy), blogging and other partners in your group blogging on your behalf, back linking strategies and keeping track of the thousands of authority site memberships for additional effect, ratings with Google Page ranks and Alexa ranks and tracking that, traffic tracking, running display ads and managing that, running Google adsense ads, Facebook Ads etc and tracking, radio ads and cableTV ads. Whew!

All of this seems very overwhelming to accomplish 'on your own'. However the very core of Veretekk and it's services and benefits allows you to run full throttle professional campaigns like this without resorting to hiring an agency to do it, or having a dozen or so unrelated services in an attempt to run something akin to this on your own

I need to weigh in here.

With the latest Google algorithm updates Panda and Penguin, nothing much changed for my top 1st page ranks. Why? I don't write to Google robots. I write as though I am talking to someone next to me on a commercial jet or even more apropos, as if I am speaking to someone of interest on a short elevator ride so I must get my point across quickly.

Forget the keyword density, forget addressing the robots in your copy like "as found on Google, or as you build your business on Google, or blah blah blah on Google". If you're thinking that Google will reward you for this, think again. Google will pick it up as article spam. What they do with your site after that is anyone's guess but I know for a fact that Google hires people to look at sites for about 15 seconds per and if that human thinks your writing to the robots your site gets killed.

OK so what to do? Write as if your talking to the friend on the plan next to you or that person you have an exclusive audience for about 3-5 minutes on that elevator ride.

So, I am asked, what do you do? I tell my new friend, "I own a company called Veretekk, it is an Automated Online Marketing System, what do you do"? They usually reply with a typical answer "I am a salesperson for ABC company that does XYZ", etc. then come back wanting know "what does Veretekk do"? What is an automated online marketing system?

Hmmm as I ponder how to make it clear what we do in a few minutes.

• We are a platform to broadcast your message via the Social Networks

• We are a platform to build top positions on the search engines for your specific market.

• We are a platform 15 years old with 1000s of like minded entrepreneurs as yourself all working together in symbiotic harmony with each other to achieve stealer success.

• We are a hosting platform for your sites and domains

• We are the highest quality web conference room platform for your quality conferences

First are you interested in or pursuing building a business on the Internet? 'Cause that is what Veretekk empowers you to do. You know what Facebook is right? You know who Aweber is the email auto responder company right? How about GotoMeeting, the web conference service? I get a blank stare. So I try another approach. Veretekk supports you with like-minded people, with all the advantages even the most powerful on the Internet wish they had. Hmmmm now we seem to be getting somewhere. A glimmer of light is showing but I can feel the questions coming. "Sounds complicated". "How much will it cost?" "Who will teach me?" "How long does it take".

I asked him, have you ever hosted a website before? Well if you did, you were pretty much on your own with the exception of support via email. You were on your own learning HTML from tutorial sites online. Hit and miss, learning from your mistakes and never sure if what you were doing would even work. The learning curve was long and painful.

I asked him, have you ever called leads? I am sure you experienced the rejection that is common buying leads. It is not fun and most people will avoid it at all costs. No pier support in these efforts as you slog along crawling through the broken glass and barbed wire of rejection calling unrelated leads to pitch your cause.

Are you up to speed with the latest technology that allows total immersion into web conference rooms and their integration into your complete business proposition?

This one solicited a blank stare as I thought it would. Are you chuckling some at this point? It is humorous really, when you consider the breakneck speed that technology is running forward at. Work At Home Internet Forum

An Internet forum, or message board, is an online discussion site. It originated as the modern equivalent of a traditional bulletin board, and a technological evolution of the dialup bulletin board system. From a technological standpoint, forums or boards are web applications managing user-generated content.

People participating in an Internet forum may cultivate social bonds and interest groups for a topic made from the discussions.

Early Internet forums could be described as a web version of an electronic mailing list or newsgroup such as exist on Usenet; allowing people to post messages and comment on other messages. Later developments emulated the different newsgroups or individual lists, providing more than one forum, dedicated to a particular topic.

Internet forums are prevalent in several developed countries. In terms of countable posts, Japan is far in the lead with over two million posts per day on their largest forum, 2channel. China also has many millions of posts on forums such as Tianya Club.

Forums perform a function similar to that of dial-up bulletin board systems and Usenet networks that were first created starting in the late 1970s. Early web-based forums date back as far as 1996. A sense of virtual community often develops around forums that have regular users. Technology, computer games and/or video games, sports, music, fashion, religion, and politics are popular areas for forum themes, but there are forums for a huge number of topics. Internet slang and image macros popular across the Internet are abundant and widely used in Internet forums.

Forum software packages are widely available on the Internet and are written in a variety of programming languages, such as PHP, Perl, Java and ASP. The configuration and records of posts can be stored in text files or in a database. Each package offers different features, from the most basic, providing text-only postings, to more advanced packages, offering multimedia support and formatting code usually known as BBCode. Many packages can be integrated easily into an existing website to allow visitors to post comments on articles.

Several other web applications, such as weblog software, also incorporate forum features. Wordpress comments at the bottom of a blog post allow for a single-threaded discussion of any given blog post. Slashcode, on the other hand, is far more complicated, allowing fully threaded discussions and incorporating a robust moderation and meta-moderation system as well as many of the profile features available to forum users.

Forums are governed by a set of individuals, collectively referred to as staff, made up of administrators and moderators, which are responsible for the forums' conception, technical maintenance, and policies creation and enforcing. Most forums have a list of rules detailing the wishes, aim and guidelines of the forums creators. There is usually also a FAQ section contain basic information for new members and people not yet familiar with the use and principles of a forum generally tailored for specific forum software.

Rules on forums usually apply to the entire user body and often have preset exceptions, most commonly designating a section as an exception. For example, in an IT forum any discussion regarding anything but computer programming languages may be against the rules, with the exception of a general chat section.

Forum rules are maintained and enforced by the moderation team, but users are allowed to help out via what is known as a report system. Most American forum software contains such a system. It consists of a small function applicable to each post including one's own. Using it will notify all currently available moderators of its location, and subsequent action or judgment can be carried out immediately, which is particularly desirable in large or very developed boards. Generally, moderators encourage members to also use the private message system if they wish to report behavior. Moderators will generally frown upon attempts of moderation by non-moderators, especially when the would-be moderators do not even issue a report. Messages from non-moderators acting as moderators generally declare a post as against the rules, or predict punishment. While not harmful, statements which attempt to enforce the rules are discouraged.

When rules are broken several steps are commonly taken. First a warning is usually given; this is commonly in the form of a private message but recent development has made it possible for it to be integrated into the software. Subsequently, if the act is ignored and warnings do not work, the member is usually first exiled from the forum for a number of days. Denying someone access to the site is called a ban. Bans can mean the person can no longer log in or even view the site anymore. If the offender, after the warning sentence, repeats the offense, another ban is given, usually this time a longer one. Continuous harassment of the site eventually leads to a permanent ban. However, in most cases this simply means the account is locked. In extreme cases where the offender after being permanently banned creates another account and continues to harass the site, administrators will apply an IP ban this can also be applied at the server level: if the IP is static, the machine of the offender is prevented from accessing the site. In some extreme circumstances, IP range bans or country bans can be applied; however, this is usually for political, licensing or other reasons.

Offending content is usually deleted. Sometimes if the topic is considered the source of the problem, it is locked; often a poster may request a topic expected to draw problems to be locked as well, although the moderators decide whether to grant it. In a locked thread, members cannot post anymore. In cases where the topic is considered a breach of rules it � with all of its posts � may be deleted.

A thread sometimes called a topic is a collection of posts, usually displayed from oldest to latest, although this is typically configurable: options for newest to oldest and for a threaded view a tree like view applying logical reply structure before chronological order can be available. A thread is defined by a title, an additional description that may summarize the intended discussion, and an opening or original post common abbreviation OP, which can also mean original poster which opens whatever dialogue or makes whatever announcement the poster wished. A thread can contain any number of posts, including multiple posts from the same members, even if they are one after the other.

A thread is contained in a forum, and may have an associated date which is taken as the date of the last post options to order threads by other criteria are generally available. When a member posts in a thread it will jump to the top since it is the latest updated thread. Similarly, other threads will jump in front of it when they receive posts. When a member posts in a thread for no reason but to have it go to the top, it is referred to as a bump or bumping. Threads which are important but rarely receive posts are stickyed. A sticky thread will always appear in front of normal threads, often in its own section.

A threads popularity is measured on forums in reply total posts minus one the opening post counts. Some forums also track page views. Threads meeting a set number of posts or a set number of views may receive a designation such as hot thread and be displayed with a different icon compared to others threads. This icon may stand out more to emphasize the thread.

A forum, just like any website, is only as good as its content. The richness of any work at home forum is entirely dependent upon the writing ability, and the members who post to said forum regularly.

Prickly Pear Cactus

Opuntia, also known as nopales or paddle cactus, is a genus in the cactus family, Cactaceae.

Currently, only prickly pears are included in this genus of about 200[1] species distributed throughout most of the Americas. Chollas are now separated into the genus Cylindropuntia, which some still consider a subgenus of Opuntia. Austrocylindropuntia, Corynopuntia and Micropuntia are also often included in the present genus, but like Cylindropuntia they seem rather well distinct. Brasiliopuntia and Miqueliopuntia are closer relatives of Opuntia.

The most commonly culinary species is the Indian and Southwestern variety. Most culinary uses of the term prickly pear refer to this species. Prickly pears are also known as tuna, nopal or nopales, from the Nahuatl word nōpalli for the pads, or nostle, from the Nahuatl word nōchtli for the fruit; or paddle cactus (from the resemblance to the ball and paddle toy. This and similar species are native to Mexico.

Prickly pears typically grow with flat, rounded platyclades that are armed with two kinds of spines; large, smooth, fixed spines and small, hairlike prickles called glochids, that easily penetrate skin and detach from the plant. Many types of prickly pears grow into dense, tangled structures.

Like all true cactus species, prickly pears are native only to the Western hemisphere; however, they have been introduced to other parts of the globe. Prickly pear species are found in abundance in Mexico, especially in the central and western regions. They are also found in the Western United States, in arid regions in the Northwest, throughout the mid and lower elevations of the Rocky Mountains such as in Colorado, where species such as Opuntia phaeacantha, Opuntia polyacantha and others become dominant, and especially in the desert Southwest. Prickly pears are also the only types of cactus found to grow natively far east of the Great Plains states; O. humifusa is widespread throughout southern New England and Long Island, where it can be found in Northport, as well as throughout the northern Great Lakes states and southern Ontario, Canada. O. humifusa is also a prominent feature of the flora at Illinois Beach State Park, in Winthrop Harbor, Illinois, north of Chicago, and of Indiana Dunes State Park southeast of Chicago.

Most species of Opuntia contain a range of alkaloids in ample quantities, notably substituted phenethylamines. While the mere presence of such compounds has been confirmed in many species without further details, they have been studied more thoroughly in others. Identified compounds of medical significance include 3 methoxytyramine, candicine, hordenine, N-methyltyramine, and tyramine. The Sicilian prickly pear contains the betalain antioxidants betanin and indicaxanthin, with highest levels in their fruits.

The stem of certain Opuntia have been investigated in the treatment of type II diabetes. Although some researchers have shown a blood glucose-lowering effect of streptacantha, another study of three other species of Opuntia showed no such effect. Yet another study, on megacantha, raised concern about toxic effects on the kidney.

It may be that certain species are effective and useful in diabetes while others are not, but this needs to be clarified with further research before recommending its use. Furthermore, when buying nopal in the market, it is impossible to know which species one is buying, and therefore whether or not it is useful in treating diabetes.

Indian Fig Opuntia might have a reducing effect on alcohol hangover by inhibiting the production of inflammatory mediators. Studies have yielded differing results, with some studies witnessing significant reductions in nausea, dry mouth, and loss of appetite as well as less risk of a severe hangover, while others witnessing no compelling evidence for effects on alcohol hangover. The gel like sap of prickly pears can be used as hair conditioner.

In Mexico and the Southwest, its pulp and juice have been used to treat numerous maladies, such as wounds and inflammations of the digestive and urinary tracts.

More than 50 million Americans suffer from chronic pain. Many people find they can gain long-term control over their pain through many alternative methods like heat or cold application, music, relaxation, exercise, meditation, acupuncture and a positive attitude.

For the vast majority of people who have chronic pain, there just aren't any pharmacologic or physical interventions that can totally eliminate the pain, says University of Washington (Seattle) pain management expert Dennis C. Turk, PhD.

Pain is a chronic condition, just like hypertension or diabetes, Dr. Turk explains. When you have a chronic condition, you need to do more things for yourself. It's going to last a long time. It's best to help yourself and learn to self-manage and control your pain.

The Options

In addition to traditional pain relievers, non drug methods of pain relief may help you gain that control. Some techniques, such as imagery and the use of hot and cold relax the muscles, help you sleep, and distract you from symptoms. Others, such as music, movies, and recorded comedy routines, take your mind off your physical complaints, as does losing yourself in a good book.

While some remedies require little expertise or help from others, some may require instruction from a professional. Dr. Ronald Glick is the director of the University of Pittsburgh Pain Evaluation and Treatment Center. Dr. Glick recommends that patients seek advice from a chronic pain specialist who can coordinate all aspects of management, including physical therapies and psychological techniques.

While these pain relief techniques help many people with chronic pain, they are not cures for pain.

Heat and Cold

The most important thing about heat and cold is that it gives a sense of control, Dr. Turk says. They are things you can do yourself to help relieve the pain, which can immediately reduce the emotional stress.

Direct Application Heat and cold can be quite helpful for people with musculoskeletal conditions, says Dr. Turk. Something as simple as a bag of frozen peas wrapped in a towel can be a useful self-management technique that relieves muscle tension in the back, neck and shoulders.

Most of us are familiar with holding an ice pack on a twisted ankle or lying on a heating pad for a sore back. But hot and cold treatments can be used in other ways. Moist heat, which is often more effective than dry heat, can be applied with a warm towel or a soak in the tub. An elastic bandage can hold an ice pack in place. A small paper cup filled with water and kept in the freezer becomes an excellent tool for localized cold massage, while iced washcloths can cover a larger area.

Timing Apply heat or cold therapy for periods not to exceed 15 minutes. Allow the area to return to normal body temperature before reapplying the therapy. Some people obtain added relief by alternating heat and ice. Others use heat before exercising and ice after.

Skin Protection

Always place a towel between the cold or heat and the skin. Never lie directly on a heating pad, and if it feels too warm, take it off. Don't combine heat with pain relieving salves, such as mentholated ointments and aspirin creams.

Relaxation The relaxation response, is a term coined by Herbert Benson, MD, of the Mind-Body Medical Institute in Boston. It is an array of beneficial physiologic effects associated with focused relaxation. Some of which may mitigate the perception of pain. For best results, make relaxation a part of your daily routine.

There are a number of ways to invoke the relaxation response, and many audiotapes are available to help. One popular approach is to assume a comfortable position, take several deep breaths, and then focus on your breathing, or a word or sound, while passively avoiding intruding thoughts.

Muscle Relaxation Exercises

Progressive muscle relaxation is a technique that may be effective for both muscle spasm pain and stress reduction.

Relaxation skills are useful in reducing muscle tension, and can help reduce frustration and some of the stress, says Jennifer Markham, PhD, at the University of Pittsburgh Pain Clinic. Progressive muscle relaxation involves focusing your attention on each muscle group until it feels heavy and relaxed. You usually begin in the feet and gradually progress upward.

Imagery Exercises Imagery, which often accompanies the management of pain through relaxation, allows you to visualize what it would be like to let the pain go. If you know what is causing the pain, for instance a pinched nerve in the spine, the idea is to picture the encroaching vertebral space opening and freeing the trapped nerve. By calling on a variety of senses, you can take yourself to a favorite place, like the beach or the mountains. Music, nature sounds and instructional tapes make it easier for beginners to escape to a mental paradise.

Relaxation techniques redirect your thinking from physical pain and onto something else, says Penney Cowan, founder and executive director of the American Chronic Pain Association. Imagining the beach, the sun on your face and the warmth of the sand helps divert your mind from how much your head is hurting.

Biofeedback

Biofeedback offers a measurable response to relaxation and imagery techniques. Through the use of sensors connected to a computer, you receive visual or auditory cues that indicate an increase or decrease in muscle tension, heart rate and skin temperature. Using this feedback, you train yourself to control body functions that you normally don't even think about. Biofeedback may be useful in chronic pain or other conditions associated with muscle spasm or tension, like some headaches.

Exercise Although you may not feel like getting off the couch because you hurt so much, exercising within the confines of your physical limitations can decrease pain. Why? The reasons are complex, but one prominent theory is that exercise releases endorphins, which are natural pain relieving chemicals in your brain.

Exercise is absolutely critical, says Dr. Turk. The type of exercise will depend on the condition, but as a general rule of thumb, the more active you remain and the more you use your muscles, the better off you're going to be.

A physical therapist can tailor an initial exercise plan based on your capacity to exercise, and then gradually make recommendations for increasing how much you do and for how long. Pain experts recommend pacing activities. Overdoing it on good days can come back to haunt you later. It's fine to cut back on your exercise during a flare-up of your pain, but it's important to resume your exercise routine as soon as you feel better.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is a form of Chinese Medicine. It involves insertion of very thin needles into the skin at different and very specific points of the body. It has been shown to be effective for treatment of chronic back pain and some forms of pain resulting from nerve damage. It requires several treatments, usually between 2-5 before a response can be seen. Results of acupuncture also largely depend on the skills of the acupuncturist.

Meditation

The benefits of meditation go beyond relaxation response. Studies show that daily meditation may be an excellent tool in fighting chronic pain. There are a variety of different meditation techniques and one should choose a mediation style that is comfortable for him or her. Meditation can be done easily in the privacy of one�s home.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis has nothing to do with popular images of stage performance. It was first utilized as a therapeutic modality more than 100 years ago. It is a well documented technique that can be useful in chronic pain management. It is done by a trained and licensed therapist. The exact way by which hypnosis works is not fully understood. It induces the state of focused awareness, which is known to alleviate many forms of pain.

Attitude and Communication

How you think about your aches and discomforts, your level of anxiety and depression, your expectations, and your ability to cope determines how much pain you feel. Cognitive-behavior modification techniques help change unhealthy attitudes and habits that can develop when pain is chronic.

Concentrate on your abilities and find pleasure in the things you can do rather than dwelling on activities that have become difficult because of your pain. Communicate with family members and explain how you're feeling. Don't expect loved ones to read your mind.

Psychology helps people begin to understand they do have some control, even if they don't have a magic wand to make the pain go away, says Dr. Markham. When they realize they have some control over their pain, it gives them hope.

About this time of year many people ask me what they can do to prevent the flu or minimize its impact. That has never seemed more relevant than today; so, I will address this with the best science we have available today. I say �today�s best science� because we simply don�t know everything we need to know about preventing and treating the flu. And we need to remember that not all that long ago �current science� said that the earth was flat and diseases were caused by evils spells or dead ancestors.

Many people never get the flu � no matter which strain we are talking about. Do you? When you get the flu, are your symptoms severe? Are there high-risk people living with you? Then your preference for or against preventive measures must take them into consideration. (What if you got it and survived but transmitted it to them and they died? How would you feel?) In any case, 35,000�40,000 people in North America die of the flu each year. It is estimated that this number will double with H1N1.

Flu protection

There are three pathways you need to focus on with flu protection � any variety: Transmission Infection Inflammation Inflammation

We will begin at the ending: Inflammation from the immune system that incapacitates � even kills � people when they have the flu. MOST IMPORTANT: The flu kills people not by transmission or by infection, but by an inflammatory immune system response called the �cytokine storm.�

Our immune system is designed to neutralize and excrete any non-self protein it finds. That includes the influenza virus. The size of the immune response needs to be equivalent to the strength of the invader.

Think of this as a building on fire: small fires are extinguished by local fire fighters. Some fires are so big that fire fighters from other departments have to be called in to help. So, fires are designated as �one-alarm,� �two-alarm,� �three-alarm,� and so on. At a certain point, our immune system pulls all of the alarms and immune system fractions from all over our body rush to put out the fire, so to speak. However, this is a case of fighting fire with fire. Cytokines are inflammatory. They kill viruses and bacteria by creating inflammation.

The cytokine storm is responsible for all of the symptoms we feel: fever, body aches, nausea, diarrhea, etc. It is also responsible for filling the lungs with mucous (pneumonia/pneumonitis) which is often the fatal trigger in influenza, SARS, Hanta virus, bubonic plague, etc.

To survive we must modulate the cytokine storm so that it does its job but doesn�t overwork and kill us. We make it work smarter, not harder. So we don�t use Vitamin C or Echinacea or anything that �boosts� the immune system. We use immune system modulators so we get exactly the right response. Quercetin (Betalains in Nopalea are quercetin bioflavonoids), green tea polyphenols (found in Energy Now!) and ginseng (Panax and Eleutherococcus found in Adaptogen 10 Plus) all balance the immune system and decrease the cytokine storm.

Infection

Prior to the cytokine storm is the infection stage of influenza. The virus infects the cell by matching a cell receptor called Hemagglutinin. Hemagglutinin (the �H� in H1N1) allows the virus to gain entry to the cell and mutate the cell DNA so it can breed an infection. It also allows the newly mutated DNA to be incorporated into surrounding cells and through cell lines. Hemagglutinin describes �infection� with the flu. Transmission

Neuraminidase describes �transmission� of the flu where the virus disarms the immune system with an enzyme. This is the �N� in H1N1, H5N1. Homeostasis must be maintained, even if this is at great sacrifice.

Other terms for MLM include network marketing, direct selling, and referral marketing.

Although the products and company are supposed to be marketed directly to consumers and potential business partners by means of relationship referrals and word of mouth marketing, critics have charged that most MLMs are pyramid schemes. This is a gross exaggeration in this author's opinion. Making broad statements of this type about a business model is ridiculous, even though, there have been many MLM businesses that are scams and schemes.

MLM companies have been a frequent subject of criticism as well as the target of lawsuits. Criticism has focused on their similarity to illegal pyramid schemes, price fixing of products, high initial startup costs, emphasis on recruitment of lower tiered salespeople over actual sales, encouraging if not requiring salespeople to purchase and use the company's products, potential exploitation of personal relationships which are used as new sales and recruiting targets, complex and sometimes exaggerated compensation schemes, and cult like techniques which some groups use to enhance their members' enthusiasm and devotion. Not all MLM companies operate the same way, and MLM groups have persistently denied that their techniques are anything but legitimate business practices. Once again, a jaded expression of this particular author concerning the MLM process. I suppose that he, or she, would make the statement that the USA is not a stable and viable entity? Preposterous statements like this are always being made concerning the work at home industry. The fact is, it is the only option available to most in this fastly becoming deleted economy of which we find ourselves living with today.

The FTC warns "Not all multilevel marketing plans are legitimate. Some are pyramid schemes. It's best not to get involved in plans where the money you make is based primarily on the number of distributors you recruit and your sales to them, rather than on your sales to people outside the plan who intend to use the products." After experiencing many years of schemes and scams, it is no wonder that the mass of people searching for legitimate work from home businesses find themselves in a constant struggle between good and evil. Generally, if a business sounds too good to be true, then it probably is. It is up to the individual to diligently seek answers, and ask questions of other owners of MLM business models to determine if that is the right one to become involved with.

Network Marketing

Network marketing is along the same lines as MLM with a bit of a difference. In network marketing, the affiliate members may choose to market their businesses by using the conventional approaches of seeking out friends, family and other spheres of influence that they may have. Approaching business in this manner can lead to frustration and often, bad feelings. Its a fact that if one brings in a friend or associate, under the guise of making a lot of money, then that friend may wind up to be an enemy. Having been down that road on several occasions, it is advised to stay far away from good friends in the marketing process.

Direct Selling

Direct selling is marketing and selling products, direct to consumers away from a fixed retail location. Sales are typically made through party plan, one to one demonstrations, and other personal contact arrangements. A text book definition is: "The direct personal presentation, demonstration, and sale of products and services to consumers, usually in their homes or at their jobs."

Industry representative, the World Federation of Direct Selling Associations (WFDSA), reports that its 59 regional member associations accounted for more than US$114 Billion in retail sales in 2007, through the activities of more than 62 million independent sales representatives.

According to the WFDSA, consumers benefit from direct selling because of the convenience and service it provides, including personal demonstration and explanation of products, home delivery, and generous satisfaction guarantees. In contrast to franchising, the cost for an individual to start an independent direct selling business is typically very low with little or no required inventory or other cash commitments to begin.

The United States Direct Selling Association (DSA) reported that in 2000, 55% of adult Americans had at some time purchased goods or services from a direct selling representative and 20% reported that they were currently(6%) or had been in the past(14%) a direct selling representative.

Most direct selling associations, including the Bundesverband Direktvertrieb Deutschland, the direct selling association of Germany, and the WFDSA and DSA require their members to abide by a code of conduct towards a fair partnership both with customers and salesmen. Obviously, it would seem to me that these guys are trying to pull the oldest trick in the book on people. There are supposedly trying to out do Sam's Club. Now, I do not know about you, but obviously, I can save money, buy the goods and services that I need, and save money by just driving a few short blocks and going to Sam's Club. I do not need this wheel re-invented, and am certainly not looking for a new pre-launch business to join.

Not only this, but he is going to market this business using IBUZZPRO! This company I have gone head to head with on numerous occasions for the simple fact that my phone number gets picked up by their Internet scraping services regularly. I believe that they are the worst examples that the Interment can offer in terms of marketing.

Tonight, as I was reviewing once again, The Money Machine Ebook, written by Tom Prendergast, I am finding more gems of knowledge and expertise in which to write about the work at home industry. After being involved in working at home, I have seen the Internet, and the business models change. I have been constantly in the process of re-evaluating my thoughts and ideas, in order to provide my readers with good information concerning the process.

You Need To apply yourself and work!

Take time to work; it is the price of success! By far the biggest joke online must be the one that tells you that you do not need to do anything to make money! You know what I mean:

These are the pitches of frustrated desperate people. They have been taught the lies from the self proclaimed Gurus, that teach the Fake it tell you Make it. I know, I have been in the audience and have heard this. When I first got involved in Network Marketing. My instincts told me, that this was wrong. It went against my character and I never indulged in this devious type of deception.

To achieve success requires determination, discipline and a lot of work. But it is worth it! With that said, yes, there comes a time, somewhere down the road, when you have been at it for a while already, that indeed all you have to do is spend 30 minutes a day or a few hours per week to maintain the momentum of your online business. That is true and highly possibly.

A successful business takes years! Are you listening to me? This is a fact. It takes years to build and nurture and invest in your business. All successful business owners know this. It rarely happens over night. There are many good reasons, it should take time.

To achieve great wealth without great effort will destroy you. You have probably heard the stories of people who win a million dollars in a lottery. What you may not be aware of, those same people years later are broke, lost everything and many on drugs or in jail. That wealth without discipline and great sacrifice is nothing more than a curse.

Remember that as you toil for years before you start to see great success. You are being prepared for success by working, sacrificing and developing discipline.

It is like farming or growing a garden. You must prepare the earth so it is fertile. You must plant the seeds in the fertile soil you prepared. You must water those seeds, and take care of the sprouts so they grow strong and productive. You need to feed your garden with good fertilizer. You must cultivate your garden so it grows unencumbered by weeds and pests, and then the day comes for harvest. And a sweet harvest it is.

Like my own business, I have spent over 10 years building it. I developed a clientele, gave them more than I promised and treat them like gold. Some things worked other things did not.

I consistently kept at it. Putting back into my business the money it created. I sacrificed to let the business grow. I listened, pursued knowledge, researched and developed as it grew. I let my creativity expand and trusted my intuition. I allowed myself to make mistakes; being forgiving of those mistakes and learned from them. I continued to rebuild and improve, never accepting failure or ever quitting. There have been times of prosperity and I used that to invest into the company and save for the hard times. There were hard times and I worked even harder during the challenges, never giving up. After more than ten years the business is strong and I still pour everything into it. Always focused on my clients best interest to deliver to them the best I can do.

Business is a relationship. But if you are like most beginning marketers, who start out online with little or no available funds, then you will have to labor to bring your business up to a level that it can run by itself by means of you being able to hire people to do the work for you. So once again, do not be fooled by those fast talking marketers with their flashy websites and stunning videos, who tell you that they got an online business for you that will make you money within 36 hours and you have very little or no work you need to do to make that money.

I promise you right now its not going to happen. And if it does, then I promise you there is another catch attached that you will only find out about once you bite into their scam. Usually that catch comes in the form of a hefty payment if you wish to continue with their product. The truth is that to get your online business off the ground and without having lots of financial resources at your disposal, you will have to put in many hours of labor to make your site successful.

The truth is that even if you can afford to outsource all the tasks needed to make your site successful, you will still have to monitor what all these folks are doing. That is work. The truth is, a successful business requires work, continuously and constantly. Do not ever convince yourself it does not.

In the work at home industry, you find unique and interesting people in which to work with. Some people are dedicated, driven and want succeed. Others are simply looking for a way to get rich quick in a home business, and get out. Personally, I have no time to spend with the get rich quickers. They will certainly fail in their goals of creating substantial wealth, and I do not want that sort of person in my organization.

Most of the problems in the work at home business world are not the companies themselves. Granted, there are companies out on the Internet that are total lies and scam, but for the most part, network marketing companies have to prove their validity. They have to fly right, or the FTC will surely come knocking on their door in the near future.

When I look for a good work at home business to join, like TriVita for example. I go to their policies and procedures first. I read, explore and research them on the Internet. If they are doing well on the search engines, then possibly they are a good company to promote. I also believe in checking the Alexa rankings of companies. If you see a steady growth upwards, and a decent ranking, that will tell you that they are a good company to deal with. If you see a sharp rise, like in a new pre-launch program, you should watch them carefully before joining.

You see, its all up to you to become educated in how to watch and use the Internet to your advantage. Use education and knowledge to positively and progressively find the right type of business to spend your quality time in promoting.

The SEO Social Marketing Network concept

This concept has been developing in my brain for several years. I am going to connect the dots for you so you can understand exactly why this new approach is extremely dynamic.

The concept of Integrated Marketing and Educational Marketing is best explained via anecdote, and innuendo.

Example today talking to a Veretekk veteran who lives in China. He is about to move to Canada. He is in Shaklee which is available as a business opportunity in China. I know you see the potential business this illustrates. So let me share today's chat I had with "Rick"

Rick has been living in China for sometime and quite involved in the Christian ministry there. Recently, it looks like he must move to Canada and leave China although he will be able to visit once a year.

Rick has a substantial group of business associates, personal friends and Christian associates there. When I was chatting with Rick I suggested that he involve these people with his Shaklee business. His reply will resonate with almost all of you. Are you ready?

"I don't like asking friends to buy as I have wore them out. I don't want to sound skeptical but most of the ones I know probably wouldn't be interested in Marketing but I can ask them anyway".

Rick has already resigned himself that these people will never do business with him and convinced because he already tried and from that single effort, he is convinced to never attempt doing that again".

At the core of this issue, is the mental image that marketing is sales and when you try to sell you get a resonating no thrown at you. This is the same disconnect I have tried to explain to you for yours. This is why cold calling, spam email, unsolicited faxes and buying leads doesn't work either!

So after that cold negative depressing reaction from Rick regarding his "incredible fortune and advantage" of having "immediate access to the single largest growing and exploding marketing in the world in man's entire history", I began revealing what integrated and educational marketing is and why it will work for Rick, especially in this situation. After I explained this to Rick, I realized that you needed to see this as well. This paradigm shift in marketing is so dynamic and fresh that even I must continuously remind myself to stay with the new mind set as even I tend to wander.

It all started with setting up Rick's new Platinum Control Panel and I noticed he had misspelled Shaklee in one of his Gold systems. When I asked him if he was involved in Shaklee and he said yes, this is when it all started.

I know Shaklee's opportunity is huge and the fact they are in China is one of the greatest opportunities of our generation, it is that big of a deal!

Rick also has the incredible additional advantage of being under Cindy McAsey and works with Jim Gras. I am laying this out to you, because Rick has so many advantages, that if done right, will turn him into an incredibly wealthy man in short order. A perfect storm so to speak for Rick.

I also have been pushing to stop calling my conferences, "training". This is a major cultural shift I am taking Veretekk. Too much focus is put on the wrong type of reference. An outsider hears all this talk about free this and free that, then discovers you need tons of heavy work loaded concepts called massive trainings, am I making sense?

I understand, we have to get with the program

It has taken more than a year in the Warriors group and still some DO NOT GET IT, I instruct to Integrate into the Warriorsforum.com and become part of the culture, and many still go there and drive by post ADs to their affiliate sights and get kicked out.

Some of these Warriors have destroyed their reputation at that forum because they continue to think "Sell, Advertise, Ads, etc."

Rick Haynes says:
That makes Veretekk have a bad name

Some of our distributors are banned at that Forum because some are bent on only SELLING and ADs!. For comparison, "The Hammer" was old mentality and posted ADS, "The Drill" integrates with informationall paragraphs and backlinks. That is how it is supposed to be used anyway. It is an integration tool, a part of the whole integrated marketing system. There are still people in the Warriors Group that do not understand this.

At it's foundation is three parts.

1. The Team(s)
2. The V2 open house conferences and workshops
3. The new Veretekk V2 Marketing Forum

The Teams:

The teams are the core of the system. SEO is a profession and as a profession. 90% of the professionals out there competing for SEO gigs are individuals with small companies and/or small entrepreneurs for their customers. Although this can be lucrative, it does not build residual income and customers come and go and you are always over booked and under paid going about business this way. The money is tight as well considering the economy and the competition as it may be.

Or you joined an MLM deal and you, by yourself, are trying to do all the SEO work, contacting leads, marketing, sales, telemarketing, site development all on your own. Am I pretty close to fact so far? Does this sound like you?

The idea struck me after I re-launched a new campaign to build a new leg in my Trivita business. I built the concept of a delegated ever growing team of viable Internet marketers. It worked great at first. But it grew large ant bureaucratic and the bickering began and the growth slowed down because the system did not replicate properly and the whole team grew huge and became very burdensome.

We did build a new leg and we broke records. The delegation part was spot on. But it did not replicate. With me so far?

Enter my friend Butch Hamilton. After taking a sabbatical for about 7 months Butch came back to Veretekk with a significant residual income growing in Trivita. Butch and I being reunited put our heads together and the idea was born. You see Butch was one of the first members in the new Trivita leg I built. When he came back, he really wanted to do SEO work, but only for Trivita. This is when it hit me.

We created a small SEO group, set up a Skype chat group and delegated duties to the 7 members (Butch has added several more since then) and targeted the keyword "Work at Home" and "Trivita" and "Its Good Business". All of these are heavily searched and all of theses keywords has our site on the first page. Particularly, when we took first page for "Work at Home" we got real excited because that term is extremely competitive at over 2 million searches per month.

And�..the BEST place on the Internet to find the best Internet marketers is right here in Veretekk! The new marketing concept was born. SEO Social Marketing Networks. The team and the replication documentation is becoming the reality and was the missing link in the shift to Integrated Marketing and Educational Marketing you will read about in the new Veretekk ebook just recently released last month.

By now you have discovered the new paradigm shift with Veretekk putting on Web Conference Seminars. The Internet is a massive experiment in action. To be successful you have to stay engaged with it and realize the learning curve is infinite and exponential. So in that spirit lets get on with it.

Unlike the seminars, workshops are focused on a set of steps to learn a skill from a particular function within the system, Workshops are 1 hour long. The first 30 minutes are the lessons and the last 30 minutes are for questions and answers and over view and demonstrations, etc.

You are hearing a lot about integration within Veretekk especially with the launch of V2. But most people do not fully grasp the term and how it plays in V2. Let me try to illustrate this powerful aspect of V2.

A note about my background and experience: I started into Marketing at a very young age. In a thumbnail, I was born to be an artist. My parents were horrified about this claiming that artist starve to death. This freaked me out. So I bought many books on marketing art and marketing in general. One of those books, "Confessions of an Advertising Man", by David Ogilvy I purchased in 1980. That book changed my life. In 1984 Soon after I acquired my first computer and the quest to merge was on.

I coined the term back in the 90s as Data Base Marketing, but today, with the advent of a progressing Internet, and related technologies, what was a tactical or strategic action in the 80s today is represented by a digital counterpart.

Today's Internet Marketer is by far a lot less qualified to be in marketing than his counterpart 20 years ago. Today one can just claim to be an SEO master or an Internet Marketer simply because the information to discover the basics and intricacies to do so are at everyone's fingertips. This does not diminish the effectiveness of today's marketer over the marketing agency of 20 years ago, it just establishes that things have changed on a massive scale.

20 years ago it took a Marketing Department to accomplish what most Internet marketers set upon themselves to do today on their own. (This is why so many fail and/or have a chronic case of ADD; Attention Deficit Disorder). NOTE: "I suffer from this myself"

The marketing tools of the Internet, the ability to measure results, the ability to research on the Internet is a dream come true to a seasoned and long time experienced ad man as myself. But it also brings with it a serious risk potential and that is the undertaking of keeping track of and updating each of the aspects that compromise Internet Marketing today.

Back before the Internet an ad agency had many people for each respective responsibility, one department for sending direct mail, another for tradeshows and conferences and yet another for display advertising and printed material, press releases, radio ads, conventions, etc.....

This is why the majority of Internet marketers are tactical (focused mostly on one aspect like SEO) instead of being strategic, having a full focus of research, analysis, multifaceted campaigns using all the tools required for full scale Internet marketing, keeping it organized and processing the constant information caused by such a campaign.

Tools ie:

• Hosting for domains and websites

• Auto responders email for follow-up communications

• Web Conference Rooms for live meetings, educational seminars, training connecting.

• SEO systems, back links, authority sites, forums, blogs, etc.

• Display advertising

• A social networking system and management

• Lead generating systems or resources for a steady inventory of leads.

• Contact data management system, calendars, reminders component.

The need to integrate all these aspects is paramount otherwise the marketing campaign is limited to a tactical approach, with poor management and even worse results. IE: hit and miss attempts, scattered approaches caused by lack of a solid strategy, impulsively running from one idea to another, the results are mediocre at best and worse, forgetting what was done in the past as this method also lacks tracking the posts, ads, and tactics, etc. used.

I have seen competent SEO marketers run from one domain to another, buying more domains and creating sites just for posting more content on pointing to other sites pointing to other sites creating a mass of gibberish that at best might increase an Alexa ranking to some degree but never really amounting to anything but time wasted.

This same phenomena can be seen with many people on the Internet running from one business idea or opportunity to the other. With no clear-cut objective, this is why most Internet marketers fail.

When you integrate the entire process, from research analysis (keeping track of that), keyword analysis, targeted content, pre written letters ready for your sequential mail auto responders, team building with a symbiotic group, videos and audio animations and screen captured demos, capture pages (tested with your group in our Bull Pen: focus groups increase the overall effectiveness of design and strategy), blogging and other partners in your group blogging on your behalf, back linking strategies and keeping track of the thousands of authority site memberships for additional effect, ratings with Google Page ranks and Alexa ranks and tracking that, traffic tracking, running display ads and managing that, running Google adsense ads, Facebook Ads etc and tracking, radio ads and cableTV ads. Whew!

All of this seems very overwhelming to accomplish 'on your own'. However the very core of Veretekk and it's services and benefits allows you to run full throttle professional campaigns like this without resorting to hiring an agency to do it, or having a dozen or so unrelated services in an attempt to run something akin to this on your own

All about Marketing

Did you know almost all successful marketing campaigns start out in the Bull Pen? Do you know what a Bull Pen is? I do, because I used to own an ad agency. I am sure many of you reading this are somewhat new to or mystified by the real marketing process. It is not sending or post ad messages to buy your product or service or join your latest get rich quick program. But from where I sit, that is what most self proclaimed Internet marketers do.

All professional ad/marketing and product/software development comes from the Bull Pen. A Bull Pen is comprised of a group of people from a wide spectrum of levels and profession/education into a conference room. The common thread is these people are a loose nit group that is somewhat familiar with the product/service being discussed.

Our Bull Pen had the account executive(s) for the client, the marketing Director, the Art Director, maybe a few designers, even the receptionist and the shop manager included. We would start out by identifying the obvious objective. We need to establish sales, increase sales or establish branding for this product/service/software etc.

The entire group has equal input and is usually directed by a leader. They can last for hours or be especially dynamic and the concept is identified within minutes. This is how we identify keywords, markets and campaign concepts. It establishes a place to begin. It gets everyone looking at the project from the outside in.

At times after several potential concepts are established we would make up several illustrated story boards or reports and then hire a small unrelated focus group that fit the demographics of the targeted market group we felt was effective then get their objective reaction to several of our potentially targeted campaigns.

This would help us get a really good perspective of a solid campaign. Then the marketing and creative team would go to work creating a much more developed presentation for the proposed marketing strategy based on intensive research and development of a final draft.

Again we would convene the Bull Pen members and hash out again. This process almost always gave us excellent direction, kept us honest to the strategy and produced measurable results.

I have a personal story to tell you.

You know I am a Dad and love my children very much. I love to teach as most of you know. We had a great training last Saturday as we covered buying domains, hosting them, setting up a blog and learning FTP.

I was born to be a teacher.

Back to my kids. Many months ago I set up blogs for both Franklin and Taylor. Taylor has been putting her artwork up on her blog. Because of this, a wonderful thing has happened. Let me tell you I am amazed at how God works! Also how powerful the Internet can be. Here goes, are you ready?

Just recently I got Taylor and Franklin new business cards. I had to make Mike and myself new cards too, because of the phone number issue we ran into (That is a long story by itself).

Well, last Friday night I was invited to go out to dinner with a few new friends of mine. Yes I am starting to get out and socializing a bit for the first time in a long time. After dinner we went to a local club and while listening to great music I fortunately opened up a conversation with a lady setting next to me. She is from Greece and happened to be visiting the US for an art show she was doing with a local gallery.

Then she introduced me to her manager and the owner of the La Jolla gallery. We chatted and I discovered she was from Croatia and was very smart about art in general. Did you know that Europeans have a much deeper appreciation for art than Americans? Did you know that Salvadore Dali’s work has appreciated in value far outstripping the price of Gold or the stock market? Artwork is collected by the rich, wealthy and powerful in Europe. I knew this and she was impressed I knew were Croatia was as well (Do you know where it is?).

Of course I bragged on Taylor’s work and I am sure she was thinking she has heard this a million times from parents about their kids. So I gave her (Her name is Biljana) one of Taylor’s business cards with the blog address on it. She called me the next morning and wanted to meet Taylor. So we went to her gallery. They hit it off!

One thing lead to another and the short story is Biljana is arranging for Taylor to meet a very successful international artist that lives in Croatia. His name is Joze Ciuha. He is a very sought after, famous and collected artist. Just the opportunity for Taylor to meet with him and be considered an apprentice position with him is a once in a life time opportunity. So we need to get Taylor to Croatia!

I have put three of Taylor’s works up for auction on Ebay so she can help raise the money to go have this interview with Jose Ciuha. Taylor is going and I will be escorting her the last week of August.

Becoming an Author

For me, the journey towards becoming an author began many years ago. As a boy who was raised on a West Texas farm, I knew the value of money, hard work, taking care of business the right way and obeying the laws. My Dad was a real stickler when it came to law and justice. This is precisely why I am like I am today. I run my business right, pay attention to never telling lies, and anyone that I come into contact with, I demand respect, as this is what I give in return.

I knew from a very early age that I would someday become an author. Its was a given element in my life. I could take and mold words in the way that suited my particular moods. This is obviously a God given talent. I progressed through my education really never having to work at studying, because most things in school hinged on writing to a more or lesser degree. I was able to absorb information very well, as I have a photographic mind. Therfefore, school was just no big deal for me. As a matter of fact, I found it very boring most times. What I did like was the fact that writing was at the core of this entire thing. That was beginning to be my passion.

I studied all the great authors like Henry David Thoreau, Ernest Hemingway and others. I knew that someday I would learn to look at life in that manner, more from an esoteric stance, than a brutal reality stance. I will admit this here and now. I prefer not dealing with the little details of life. It would seem that most are content in worrying about the economy, worrying about making money, worrying about the weather, worrying about their health and in general, expending a great deal of time and energy into the little things in life that really do not matter.

My take on life is very simple and straight forward. I will live my life on my own terms. I will never have anyone telling me what to do with my precious time. I do not believe in being controvesial in any manner, and I will move quickly away from any element that takes that stance.

Now we enter into the world of jobs, raising kids, being happily married and doing everything that I possibly could to raise my wife and family, and provide for them everything that life has to offer. You can imagine what happened at the onset of this. My writing took a backseat as I was simply too weary to write. I decided to make that change from the mundane world of work, and move into the world of the Internet. This was about five years ago that I made that decision. Little did I know that way back on that small West Texas farm, that I would be able to write again.

At first, writing was a bit of a challenge, but the more that I wrote, the more that I found that I could write. The ideas and stories concerning home business were becoming to be something of inspiration, rather than perspiration. I began submitting articles across the net in ezine articles, press releases, blog posts and forums. Little did I know then that I was working on becoming an SEO Master.

The whole art and science of effective search engine optimization is directly related to pursuing a writing career. In essence, I am accomplishing my true calling of being a successful author each and every day. I find that the Internet is a live, work, develop relationships, and in reality, live exactly as you wish to live. We can all live greener and more productive lives simply because we can now stay at home and do exactly what we wish to do, and never have to do something because a boss holds the key to our financial future.

Would I recommend that people learn the art and science of SEO? Absolutely! When you do accomplish this as I have, you will find your horizons ever broadening in the digital world of information.

Prospecting with Post Scripts (P.S.)

What is one of the most powerful freee online marketing techniques? It might be the: P.S. the average person gets so much email these days that they tend to scan instead of read. It’s a proven fact people might not read your email word for word but they generally read the P.S. and here’s how it works: Every day you are corresponding with people by email. In fact, the average person sends 5-10 emails every day to people they know. That’s 5-10 chances to advertise and generate prospects that most people completely forget about every day!

Sharp business marketers will generally always add a P.S. I can personally connect many dollars in revenue and leads to P.S.’s that I’ve added to emails, sent to people via autoresponders, and one-on-one communications. If you get my email’s through the bully pulpit you’ve probably noticed them.

A Post Script is simple, non-threatening and effective!

I’ve found when people read a P.S., they don’t usually feel like they are being “sold to”. Instead, they feel like they’ve discovered something extra, and when people feel like that they are much more likely to respond positivity to what is being presented. Do this consistently and I am confident that you will start producing extra prospects and customers too.

After spending time listening to the recorded business opportunity presentation, reviewing the web site, and talking it over with his friends, Tim called me back. He and his friend signed up into my business, and became a member of our team. Yes, they both caught the vision. The concept: The Platinum Control Panel is designed to access and control certain aspects of other’s Gold systems. If you have been paying attention you are already aware of the power already available. Butch Hamilton contacted me today and discussed the possibilities to be able to gather up all the Premium Leads in the Gold systems in his Platinum Control Panel so he could call them. Well, the idea is brilliant. So what we are going to do is create a Call Center system in the Platinum Control Panel that will logical list in line format all of the Premium leads according to groups. If you want to see them all, you can, or maybe you just want to see only the Silver subscribers. Are you with me so far?

Then within this lined list you will have name, phone, email, date, and comments. Makes it real easy for a seasoned telemarketer to call one at a time and communicate with these premium leads. In this article, I am going to pursue an element that is so often overlooked, but should be thought about to a large degree. Over analyzing your work on Google is the worst thing that you can possibly do for your online business. Over the years, I have lectured and trained many people in search engine optimization. By and large, the people that seem to have the most problems in learning the process are the ones that over analyze every small detail in this process.

Search engine optimization, at the core, is a beautifully simple process. You simply choose a high traffic keyword, build a keyword specific website, place information daily, using that keyword string and you have a very successful seo campaign in the works.

Here is the problem. People tend to be very analytical and anal, if you wish, to this approach. Like Tom Prendergast relates very nicely, this story concerning this issue. “If you are in the military, and the enemy is attacking you, are you really going to ask what makes this rifle work? Or, are you just going to point the rifle, and kill the enemy?” Personally, I choose taking the enemy out. This is precisely my approach to SEO as well. I am going to first visualize where I want to go with my presentation on Google. After that, I am going to choose the high traffic keyword, write the articles and everything else that I do.

Honestly, how hard can this process be, folks? But having said that, how many articles did you write today to promote your online business? How many websites did you build today? How many press releases did you write today, to promote your online business? If you are like most people that I talk with, you have just not gotten around to that process yet. I have one more question for you. What have you done today to build your business? If you have done a lot of chatting, or talking, then you probably are falling short of your goals.

You must begin to visualize what you want to accomplish. You must not over analyze this process. If you do, you will simply become just another case of someone who is not being successful in a home business. You will join the ranks of the 95% who are not having success. Do you wish to become a statistic. I know for a fact that I will be in top 5% of people that do make money.

I will segway this article right into the Veretekk Platinum System. I am having absolutely no issues at all operating this amazing system. It is a fact that this system works, is working, and will continue to work brilliantly on the search engines. I see in the Beta Skype Chat that some people are having issues. Almost all of the issues that we are seeing is that the person is over analyzing, rather than adequately working this system.

Isn’t it time for all of us within Veretekk to become professional at what we do? Should we not follow these two people’s example and get busy and learn what we need to know to become successful with a home business?

I heartily recommend that if you are falling short of your goals, whatever they may be, that you take ultimate responsibility for you actions. You need to become educated by coming to the training classes, take notes and listen to what these people are telling you. Without this level of commitment, I can guarantee you that you will simply fall into the obscure category of one that is not being successful. We all have the option to choose our own destinies within Veretekk. I trust that you will choose the wiser path.

But we are not completely out of the woods yet. I know when ever we introduce new technology there are going to be some bugs. But one thing you will notice is the lists now load very fast. Even my massive accounts with millions loads in less than 3 seconds.

However I have already discovered that when I went to use the leads transfer it failed. We are aware of this and it will be fixed.

What are you doing with the dog days of summer?

Every year in the customer side of my business we experience the dog days of summer for a few weeks. This summer I’m using these dog days as an opportunity to really focus on our team SEO campaign. A few years ago I buckled down and did an SEO campaign the hard way and it took about 6 to 8 weeks to hit the top of google for my keywords. Since then I have participated on a few team SEO campaigns what a difference that makes, when everybody is working as a team! I don’t remember exactly how long it took to get noticed in the Search Engines but it didn’t take long.

I have learned when working as a team you must focus on what is best for the team and it’s members first. In the Veretekk Platinum Control Panel you have 2 links that can be configured to what ever links you choose. At first glimpse I thought our team site RSS feed should be one link, but decided on my capture page forwarding to a rotator and our team forum instead.

Let me explain…

I know that people buy from people and they don’t care how much you know till they know how much you care. Hopefully that makes sense to you. Bottom line to really have success online you need to promote yourself not the products or the company your represent. It’s all about you, that’s one reason social networking is working so well that many brick and mortar companies are hiring marketing people just to do social marketing for them.

So here’s what we are doing on my SEO team, when someone decides to optin from my capture page they are directed to a rotator where each team members site is rotated in. This makes a huge benefit for the SEO team member. The SEO team member can take advantage of the years of experience I have online and the brand/image I’ve worked diligently on to create. I and the SEO team member will be working with the newest person getting them going. It’s a win win situation for everyone. Over time each SEO team member will be taught to create their own brand/image online and branch off with a Veretekk Platinum Control Panel for their team.

This is has been my vision, now it’s a plan that’s taken action. How about you? Do you have a vision for your business? One great trait of leadership is having a vision. Have you ever heard the saying “You must stand for something or you’ll fall for everything”. I see this happening lots with online businesses. As a leader, you must first have a strong vision then learn to communicate your vision to the your team.

Here’s how you do that…

Learn to paint a picture with words. Speak it. Write it. Draw it. Touch it. Whatever methods you can use to create a picture. Just do it, as they say. “A picture is worth a thousand words.”

Ask a few of your team members to tell you in their own words about your vision. How close is it to what you thought they understood? Is your team on the same page as you?

As you work, your vision should be on your mind everyday. You should re-evaluate it occasionally so it stays current with the pulse of the Internet. Remember your team must be just as involved as you are with change. How about you does your team communicate daily and/or have weekly web conferences keeping everyone in the loop? Our team does.

When it came time for me to start concentrating on my own dreams, I didn’t have a college degree to fall back on, and therefore wasn’t qualified for a well-paying position anywhere. So I decided to *create* a career on my own by educating myself on Internet marketing.

I jumped on board, dug in and learned how to set up and use the basics of Veretekk™ very quickly, duplicating the successful results of other group members. With each other’s help and support, we are coming to experience what a powerful and progressive marketing system Veretekk™ really is, and how much more we can utilize it by tapping into more Veretekk™ training!

For years I tried buying premium leads, bought hits to my websites, sent thousands of post cards, posted flyers all over, handed out business cards, hounded family & friends, gave out free samples. bought people lunch and drew circles on napkins, used the three foot rule. You name it – I’ve likely tried it – in regards to marketing methods.

I have testimony from the Lord. I have many but this one is for you today. In late January I was feeling the pressure of the coming economic shift and the fear of this economic shift was pressing on me. I know my time is growing short in what Veretekk’s roll is in this shift.

I was faced with a dilemma Even though Veretekk has become very powerful it needed leadership and guidance. And I needed to make more money than just enough to keep the bills paid. Then I came across a book called “The Power in Prayer”. Basically the book opened my understanding that even though I have been dutiful in following the path the Lord has laid before me, I had not prayed directly to God via Jesus my demands.

So basically I spent several hours for many mornings setting in quite solitude and verbally called on Jesus to fulfill His promise to me. I needed money and lots of it to take this further according to His plan. I got very direct as if talking to my father as if he had promised me a vacation to Hawaii if I got straight As. Very demanding.

I said, Lord I have followed you for most of my life. I have built this vision called Veretekk and have sacrificed everything for it according to your will. I have dutifully been in the desert for the most part of 10 years doing this. It is BUILT! Fulfill your promise. I need money to take it to the people in all corners of the earth. I NEED MONEY to do this. Fulfill your promise to me!

I prayed for weeks, then one morning in my slumber the first of many ideas began to rise up in my mind. The first was the Bench Mark Bonus. Share the revenue new signups make for Veretekk with the strongest producers. Reward them for helping you. So The Bench Mark Bonus idea was launched.

I shred with him my strategy for Trivita. He embraced it and in late February the Its Good Business group was started with Al pledging to invest $5000+ per month into the campaign.

I immediately called Butch Hamilton and Paulette Sherb to share with them what I was about to put together. They joined and we were on our way.

We knew Trivita would not let us promote their name on the Internet. I was perplexed. The next morning in my slumber another idea made it’s way to my conscience. Market every MOLM on the Internet except Trivita and reveal the issue with buying leads vs buying customers. The marketing campaign was born.

I kept praying. The ideas started flowing into my mind. I was once again consumed with the Lord’s inspiration!

The idea to start a blogging brigade. The idea to build a support forum for the group. People were flowing in. Then the idea to build Super Blogs hit me and I figured out how to subscribe all these blogs to the Veretekk RSS feeds happened so everyone didn’t need to go to each blog I built to submit but was all controlled from the Veretekk system.

As I grew figuring this out I also saw the limitations in doing this, this way Veretekk was setup. The idea of having multiple Veretekk Golds was born with linking them all together for greater SEO power was born.

Then I had another inspiration to build individual Blogger drones for each SEO team member with their unique designated SEO keyword set. The idea of Blogger Drones was born.

The organization grew at an amazing pace. By the end of the month Al had already achieved Director. Then it hit me we need a new ad on for Veretekk to automate this massive amount of work. The Platinum Control Panel, idea was born.

Doing this all by hand we were already taking top key positions in Google. But I had to sell this idea to my partner Mike. 90% of the time he does not agree with me on my ideas. This time Mike saw it in 10 seconds flat and the promise of the Platinum Control Panel was born.

Three month after starting that prayer I have doubled Veretekk revenue and the revenue increases everyday. God is delivering as promised.

I had to demand His blessing for my faithfulness and sacrifices. He inspired me and gave me the ideas to move this forward. I know I am still in the middle of this great blessing and I will continue to pray, because It Works.

When we are faithful and also demanding God will bless you richly.

But you must be willing to hear Him and DO what He inspired you to do. You must act.

All along over the years I knew I was building something special with Veretekk. But I way underestimated how powerful Veretekk really is until I started using it, I mean really using it. Read on gentle readers.

The most powerful aspect of Veretekk is the training. I say this because as I build my new organization in the MLM opportunity I have been in for over 7 years, many are Veretekk veterans.

How do I put this?

The Veretekk people in my organization are organized, communicate well, build team cohesiveness and take to marketing on the Internet with exceptional results in all aspects of Internet marketing.

The non Veretekk people that have joined my organization are awkward, hard to communicate with, want to do three ways, struggle with team effort and require tremendous effort to train to work the Internet the proper way.

It is as different as night and day.

The SEO power of the Veretekk tools is unbelievable. We are taking more and more Google territory everyday. People are finding our campaign on Google and filling out our Veremail forms in record numbers. Top leaders in other opportunities are calling us and joining without resistance. MLM companies are contacting us enquiring about Veretekk and are starting to send their distributors to sign up into Veretekk to find out what Veretekk is all about.

The lead generation capabilities of Veretekk building the sphere of influence works just as I intended it to work. Every time I press the button in the Bully Pulpit we get more traffic, more Veremail forms filled out and more distributors into our MLM.

NOTE: I am not using the Hammer to do this either!

I have set up my Market centers in all my Portals and as this campaign has taken root on Google I am getting more Silver sign ups in all my Gold systems I am using for this campaign. I know they are working because my main capture site has a Veretracking code in it and it reveals massive traffic coming from the search engines, email and yes, the Market Centers! Kawabunga, Veretekk rocks.

But just like NASA this effort is also developing new technology for Veretekk. For instance I have developed what I call Blogger Drones. These drones look and act just like blogs, but are centrally controlled from the Veretekk back office RSS FEED center. I have developed what I call Super Blogs, again they are real WordPress blogs but are constantly updated with new content from, you guessed it, the Veretekk back office.

The Platinum concept we shared with you several weeks ago was born from this campaign. I have 20 Veretekk Gold systems now. As I am going through the process of swarming them together, controlling the blog systems with each of those accounts, transferring my leads from account to account to send out my marketing newsletters, a new idea is taking root. So today tell me what you think about this.

The Platinum Control Panel:

I am seeing a need, and we can build it, to have a centralized control panel to manage all the Veretekk system I have from one login, in one Veretekk Gold system. Thus allowing me to control all the Veretekk Gold systems I have usernames and passwords for. This will allow me to send my Bully Pulpit out everyday to all the data in the entire group of Veretekk sites this controls. This will allow me to automate swarming the entire portfolio of Veretekk Portals this represents instead of having to do them all by hand. This will allow me to access all the RSS FEED blogs from one location instead of having to log into each account to do it. This will allow me to set up Sequential letters for my auto responders from one location. This will allow me to set up my Market Canters from one location.

This concept will save me hundreds of hours and give me the capability to accelerate my communications, configuration and SEO process.

I am also considering adding the new up and coming Silver SEO accounts as well. I am also considering adding a web page builder similar to Free-Page but allowing it to write those pages into everyone of my Traffic Portals, without the need of verification and without the template having the same format like Free-Page but instead the design being completely controlled by you. I am also considering adding thousands of Blogger Drones into the system with new domains we already own with your username sub-domain.

It wont be cheap, it wont be for everyone and it will take a significant amount of effort to build this Platinum Control Panel. But I want it and I need it and therefore it will get built. It will pay commissions to your Veretekk Platinum up-lines.

Trade Secrets of Writing Good Content

Writing content for the net is an effective way to market your business. It’s one of many great marketing strategies if done correctly. Content can be in the form of an article, press release, email, blog, RSS feed or even using one of my new mini blogging favorites twitter.

The first tip to remember your content must be worthy of reading to someone. I love the phrase “content is king.” This is so true. Bring value to your readers. You should deliver information that will allow your reader to visualize the outcome and take action. Find a unique angle, a good hook and develop a conversation with your reader.

Most content should be written in conversation mode, with the exception of press releases they should be written in 3rd party. Connect with the conversation that is already in their mind. Complete the thoughts for your prospect. Build trust and respect. Get in touch with their passion.

Provide benefits to your reader. If your content doesn’t pass the “so what” test go back and tweak it. A good example is – Now you will be able to learn what I do in a fraction of the time it took me. Every word has to earn it’s keep, especially in the headline. The language should not be boring, you aren’t trying to win awards you are writing to make money. Keep it exciting.

Did you know what the most important word in content writing is? YOU. Appear at all times as if you are on the reader’s side. You are their advocate. What at about Search Engines? Yes, you will want to integrate key words in your writing. But always write for the HUMAN first. Writing can be fun and a large part of your business, but you want your readers to read it from start to finish. If content is stuffed with keywords, but has no HUMAN interest, it’s useless.

Effective Marketing requires a few good keywords and key phrases. They should be relevant to the topic, and the context. Keywords and key phrases must appear seamlessly in the article, and not disrupt the natural flow of the content. It does no good to have your content at the top of google if the reader doesn’t take action on what you have written.

To become a master, study the masters. As with any subject, if you want to learn, learn from the best. Pick out a few master copy writers and study them. Sign up for their newsletters, take notes and become a student.Don’t think you can write? Yes, you can. The most important step to writing is to get started.

Get in front of your computer and just do it. Write down your thoughts. Writing content is effective and will grow your business.

The Internet Entrepreneur Chronicles I

Entrepreneurialism is founded on the premise of free thinking individuals. Merit, success, hard work and individual prosperity is rewarded to those who maintain focus and discipline creating a venture that benefits all and the belief in unlimited wealth. That is the essence of Capitalism. Capitalism allows free enterprise to take place and businesses to flourish. It's value is simply based on one thing, the free voluntary judgment of the consumer. Capitalism offers the freedom of choice.

There has been a slow erosion of Capitalism, a shift towards a more all inclusive system that "shares the wealth". The premise is based on the fact that there is a limited amount of wealth to be shared in the world. It must be equally divided thus the work be equally divided. There is no penalty for not meeting the minimum requirement and no reward for individual merit. The mere idea of "shared wealth" minimizes the reward to the hard worker and encourages a dulling of creativity. Now, if you were offered a job that told you no matter what you do, you get paid. You don't get paid more or less than anyone else. There is no additional pay for overtime, but you receive your benefits like everyone else. Sounds secure doesn't it, sounds like an easy way to earn a paycheck. Sounds like Socialism.

Socialism is a utopian ideal that kills free enterprise. It stifles creativity and the entrepreneurial spirit. In Americas's Silicon Valley there were no new IPO's for the second quarter in what was once America's second industrial revolution. There was only One new IPO in the third quarter. Clearly there is a slow down in the economic growth to put it mildly. Complicated tax codes and bureaucratic penalties for doing business in the United States has forced many Industries to outsource or outright leave for kinder shores.

The Internet is the last bastion for the free thinker, the maverick, the maker of dreams that is the Entrepreneur. It is untouched by the bureaucracies of our governments. It offers unlimited wealth for those who are disciplined and work to create innovative opportunities. It reaches every country, every shore, every nook and cranny where the free thinker may exist. Every day, a new dreamer is born ready to live the dream that we here in America created in 1776. The world is a much smaller place with the innovation of the Internet; we don't know where the next Einstein, Alexander Graham Bell, Thomas Edison or Bill Gates will crop up. But as long as the Internet remains the realm of the Entrepreneur, they will be found, cultivated and grown. Capitalism is the hope and dream of many around the world searching for freedom. Wealth and prosperity for the individual IS possible as long as we keep this beacon of light burning strong.

The Beacon of Light

His will was strong, you could sense the fire within his soul, you could sense his mighty power, it was only his body that had betrayed him. He asked each person as they walked by for assistance and aid, all ignored him, shunned him, and looked the other way. He did not waiver. He remained steadfast.

Finally, a blessed woman stopped to listen although her friend tried unsuccessfully to have her move on. Her dark skin glowed around her face as if she wore a halo. She was to be his guardian angel. He told her of his plight. He had been dropped off by an assistance vehicle service in the wrong area. The driver did not pay attention to the address and simply left him. He was lost and alone. This angel of a woman, armed with her cell phone took action. He provided the number to the service and his id code and she listened, called and demanded they return immediately and drive him to his correct destination.

She stayed with him until he was safely on his way.

She had been tested and deemed worthy.

The scene played out before me. As I sat there, I became filled with a sense of overwhelming peace. I said to myself "so shines a good deed in a weary world". I walked passed the woman and told her "God bless you Angel". I have been changed ever since. There is a sweet smell in the air, the sky is bluer, the clouds are puffier and whiter, the sun shines brighter.

Europe's big banks aim to profit from Wall Street's losses

"With fewer players in the U.S. and in Europe, clearly there is an opportunity for Soci�t� G�n�rale," Fr�d�ric Oud�a, the company's chief executive, told top executives from the bank amid a serene setting of ivy-covered walls and classical statuary. He ticked off sectors where his bank expected to make inroads, including investment banking and equity derivatives.

Executives at Europe's still-solvent giants see a rare opportunity to crack businesses long-dominated by more nimble American firms brought low by the crisis on Wall Street.

The knowledge that Europe, on the whole, generally stuck with its broad "universal" bank approach and never fully bought into the stand-alone investment banking model that has now collapsed provides a reassuring backdrop for its executives.

Europe's banks still have plenty of problems, of course. On Saturday, President Nicolas Sarkozy will host a gathering of European leaders in Paris in an effort to formulate a coordinated response to the credit crisis, which has already pushed Germany, France, Belgium, Britain, Iceland, Ireland and Greece to shore up lenders in their countries. European Union officials are seeking to strengthen regulatory oversight of a banking industry where national borders are increasingly blurred.

But while European banking giants have taken their hits - a trading scandal in January cost Soci�t� G�n�rale �4.9 billion, or $6.8 billion at current exchange rates, and UBS has written down tens of billions of dollars in toxic mortgage debt - there is already evidence of a shift on Wall Street.

In the prime brokerage business - holding assets, clearing trades and providing financing and back-office services for hedge funds - Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank and UBS say a tidal wave of money has poured into their coffers in recent weeks from clients nervous that other U.S. companies might follow the downward arc of Lehman Brothers and Bear Stearns.

"We had massive inflows," said Alex Ehrlich, global head of prime services for UBS. Ehrlich said his firm was poised to take over the No.3 ranking in prime brokerage, filling the position Bear Stearns once occupied behind No.1 Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.

"We were just deluged," Ehrlich said, with "tens of billions" coming in without the need to call around and pitch services. "We were working very hard to accommodate clients, and trying at the same time to make sure we didn't screw anything up in processing record volumes."

To be sure, even for the strongest financial institutions, banking is not an easy business to be in right now and it could very well get worse before it gets better. And once the current crisis is over, banks in both the United States and Europe will be subject to more regulation and tighter capital requirements, a sure-fire recipe for lower profits.

But even before a new framework is sorted out, leading European banks - like the surviving American giants Bank of America, Citigroup, Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase - are preparing to take advantage of their more diversified stature to become global predators.

Klaus-Peter M�ller, chairman of Commerzbank and the Association of German Banks, said the universal bank model was looking better by the day, thanks to the multiple pillars that support its business. "Usually when one pillar suffers, the others do better," M�ller said. "Seldom do all sectors of a universal bank do badly."

Barclays, the British banking giant, acquired the North American investment banking and capital markets units of Lehman, along with its New York offices, for $1.75 billion in U.S. Bankruptcy Court late last month. That is far less than such businesses were worth only a few weeks ago.

On Wednesday, the French bank BNP Paribas completed its acquisition of Bank of America's prime brokerage business, giving it new entree in a business long-dominated by the likes of JPMorgan, Morgan Stanley, and Goldman Sachs.

"People are now coming to us," said BNP's chairman, Baudouin Prot. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Where they are not coming, European banks are not shy about going after them. Deutsche Bank's poaching of prime brokerage clients from Morgan Stanley and Goldman was forceful enough that it got a polite but firm word from regulators, an executive with the bank said. With the crisis this bad, Deutsche was told, we need you to ease off.

Deutsche is also casting about for a good acquisition in asset management in the United States, the executive said, requesting anonymity because no targets had been settled on yet. Opportunities abound with the turmoil at industry giant Merrill Lynch, which was taken over by Bank America, the executive said. Asset management is hard for a European company to build up from scratch in the United States.

Deutsche also secured its footprint in the ultra-stable European consumer banking business by seizing a controlling stake last month in Postbank, a German company that was once a stodgy state-owned business.

The Continent's insurance executives have more than a little swagger about them as well.

European insurers watched the near-collapse of the titan of the industry, American International Group, with a sense of awe that quickly turned into anticipation at the prospect of snapping up the juiciest bits of what was left.

"Insurance suddenly looks like a pretty attractive business to be in," said Paul Achleitner, chief financial officer at Allianz, which is based in Munich.

He said that with his company's revenue heavily weighted toward Europe, Allianz was interested in acquiring parts of AIG's business in Asia, though he declined to be more specific. Across town, the reinsurer Munich Re, which also competes in the primary insurance business, said it would look for deals in Asia and Eastern Europe.

With AIG's outlook still murky, German insurers are not the only ones that stand to profit. AXA of France, Aviva of Britain, Generali of Italy and Swiss Re are other big insurers that could bid for the pieces of AIG that are essentially owned by the U.S. government, analysts and executives said.

Warren Buffett, whose investment company, Bershire Hathaway, has stakes in several insurers, is likely to be one U.S. survivor, European executives acknowledged. Buffett's companies invest insurance premiums more aggressively than most American insurers, an approach that is actually more in line with European practices, Achleitner pointed out.

"I think insurance will be an industry where at the end of the day the majority of the leading players are in Europe," said Achleitner said. "We'll have to see about the Asians."

In good times and bad, banks frequently raid each other for talent. But with the downturn on Wall Street being called the worst since the Depression, European banks are in a better position to prowl the globe for talent that can be had more cheaply than in the past.

Prot, the BNP chief executive, said his bank typically did not typically offer the outsized pay packages once common at Lehman and other U.S. firms. But that does not matter now.

"We are seeing r�sum�s from people that might have gone to investment banks that have now disappeared," Prot said. "Lehman had good talent."

Deutsche Bank snapped up a Lehman managing director, Maarten van Berckel, as managing director for global banking in the Benelux countries. UBS, despite its extensive write-offs from bingeing on subprime mortgages and the continuing U.S. investigation into its tax avoidance practices, has also hired 26 financial advisers from Lehman, bulking up the presence of its wealth management unit in New York as well as San Francisco and Los Angeles.

The hiring on Wall Street hints at a long-term faith in the United States that many Americans seem to lack these days. European banks may not swallow banks whole, but they are betting on the resilience of the country, the world's largest economy.

"The United States will come back, and European banks may use the change to take on a few good people and build that up," said Christian Strenger, a board member of DWS Investment, Deutsche's asset management business. "The United States is very flexible in these things, and what is the drama today is the opportunity tomorrow."

But the Wall Street of tomorrow is likely to be very different from today, ruled by more strictly regulated big banks with fingers in many different operations around the globe.

"The market today is choosing the business model for the future," said S�verin Cabannes, co-chief executive officer of Soci�t� G�n�rale, "and voting for the universal banking model."

Still recovering from the hardships of WWI, Europe was ill prepared for the financial shift that was about to occur. Large exports of American capital had helped sustain Europe during the 1920's leading up to the worldwide crash. Vestitures in US securities, the weight of American loans and obligatory reparations by Germany had sent an influx of monies from Europe flowing into American securities. When Black Friday hit, Europe was immediately affected. We saw Isolationism, Nationalism, Communism, Fascism, Marxism and Socialism with their economic ideology permeating through their respective countries.

America had become the financial superpower as Europe had tried to recover. With the election of FDR into the white house and America lacking the financial experience in her new role, the road to financial stability for the world economy was a rocky one. FDR ushered in program after program, spending upon spending and yet trying to balance the budget and pay down the deficit. An economic impossibility. The result for Europe? America raised tariffs impeding Europe's International trade and further impairing recovery. The only option was a departure from the Gold Standard creating a devaluation and strengthening currencies. By 1937, worldwide economies returned back to pre depression indices.

FDR was not as lucky with his recovery campaign in America. Two years into the great depression. FDR met with a controversial British economist by the name of Maynard Scott Keynes. During the depths of the Great depression, Keynes wrote a piece titled "The General Theory of Employment, Interest and Money." Keynes' basic idea was simple. In order to keep people fully employed, governments have to run deficits when the economy is slowing. That's because the private sector won't invest enough. As their markets become saturated, businesses reduce their investments, setting in motion a dangerous cycle: less investment, fewer jobs, less consumption and even less reason for business to invest. The economy may reach perfect balance, but at a cost of high unemployment and social misery. Better for governments to avoid the pain in the first place by taking up the slack."

FDR unfortunately did not take heed until it was finally realized that his policies were not generating the recovery that had been hoped. Now the US had entered WWII and FDR went public .As the President explained in a fireside chat, "We suffer primarily from a failure of consumer demand because of a lack of buying power." It was therefore up to the government to "create an economic upturn" by making "additions to the purchasing power of the nation."

Keynes vision of Capitalism dramatically changed the face of a suffering nation. FDR was astounded by how dedicated and productive the American people could be when given a chance to rise up and make a difference.

As with many governments, they underestimate the people they are here to serve. The power of the free thinker, the tenacity of men and the ability to drive a nation to succeed by a single act, a single voice, a single thought. Bound to one vision, to be free... freedom of choice, freedom of thought and to control ones destiny.

US 'no longer economic superpower' From correspondents in Berlin | September 25, 2008 THE United States will cease to be the economic "superpower" because of the financial crisis, and Wall Street and the world "will never be the same again," Germany's finance minister says.

"The long term consequences of the crisis are not yet clear. But one thing seems likely to me: the USA will lose its superpower status in the global financial system. The world financial system is becoming multipolar," Peer Steinbrueck said in a speech to parliament.

If we are to believe there is a paradigm shift in financial power going back to Europe, back to the EU, what will the social and economic responsibility for the world be? Keynes believed that any sound economy was based on the theory that a commitment to mans productivity and individuality held the key to success.

If we are to learn anything here. Keynes economic theory pulled the world out of the great depression and catapulted the United States into decades of successful growth. Only the elected leaders of the day drove it into recession when they turned to government surpluses. But, always...when Keynes principals were resurrected, the economy recovered and rebounded. Never have we seen another depression. If we are to truly become a global economy, the sound principals of hope, freedom of choice and individualism must rule the day.

Unfortunately, we hear leaders in governments ever eyeing socialism, planned economies. Governments determining peoples incomes, what jobs they can do what role that is needed and must be filled. Big government only serves those in power at the expense of the individual. The opportunity to choose to live our lives as we see fit, to better ourselves and our families way of life is diminishing.

Our hope... the Internet. Here the opportunities that the Americans overcame in the days of the great depression still live on. The spirit of the entrepreneur, the drive to succeed is here. I spent well over 10 years and at least $80,000 seeking an honest, ethical residual income opportunity that I could be comfortable marketing. I jumped from one opportunity to another, like an MLM Junkie, believing the hype, getting excited, thinking "This is It", only to lose interest as each opportunity's shortcomings or the head Guru's dirty little secrets were revealed.

Even if the opportunity itself was OK - one common problem with all opportunities - is that you have to find a cost-effective way to market. As a result of seeking cost-effective ethical marketing, about 18 months ago, I discovered Veretekk. Stop Doubting!

If you doubt what Tom is doing with Its Good Business, STOP doubting! Simply stated, the team concept of delegation rather than duplication, like we use at Its Good Business, works, and it works better than anything out there.

As a team member of IGB, my job is to blog about two MLM companies, Big Planet and Send Out Cards. Following the leadership of Tom, I blog daily about both companies. I write about how great these companies are, how good their compensation plans are, and then I explain the problem with most MLM companies; they promote buying leads to build a business.

The other day two business associates of Send Out Cards came up with an idea that would help them build their Send Out Cards' businesses, and bring in some extra cash. Their plan was to use an Internet marketing system, to capture leads, and then turn around and resell these leads to Send Out Cards' reps. Turning to Google (Isn't that where everyone searches?) to search for Send Out Cards leads, to their amazement, they found my blog, and then another, and another. They were all over the Internet. Yes folks, everywhere they turned they found my blogs and content.

Later that afternoon, my phone rang. "Hi, is this Jeff, my name is Tim, you don't know me but I'm a Send Out Cards rep." I thought to myself, here goes, someone trying to pitch me on his SOC business. This time, to my amazement, they weren't pitching me on their deal; they wanted to know what I was doing writing about SOC. We had a nice conversation, as I continued to explain what I do, and what our organization does. I gave them a web site where I posted a recorded business opportunity presentation.

After spending time listening to the recorded Saturday business opportunity presentation, reviewing the IGB site, and talking to Tom, Tim and his friend signed up with TriVita, and became a member of our IGB team. Yes folks, they both caught the vision. The same vision I believe Tom had when he set this system up. Thanks Tom!

I thought it would be easy to write about success. As I sit here trying to find the words that describe my thoughts and feelings, I believe this may be the hardest thing I have ever wanted to write. Funny that success should produce such strong and opposing emotional reactions. It has kind of taken me by surprise but I will do my best to share what Its Good Business has done for me in just two months.

I took a huge leap of faith when Tom Prendergast finally announced that he was ready to start his marketing campaign he called "Its Good Business" marketing strategy. My heart nearly fell from my chest down to my toes when he explained the concept and his formula for success. Why? Well he actually expected people to make a commitment to success! The commitment was not just monetary either. He was asking for a commitment to the team as a whole, not just a piece of it, but to the whole team - up line, down line, sideline and cross line! When I heard his brilliant strategy fear gripped my heart and my first reaction was "I can't do this"!

I heard something else too. Through the fear and the confusion I was feeling I heard Tom say, "Paulette, you can do this but you have to make a choice. If you really want to achieve success you have to make the commitment. It's the only way!" I'd like to say the fear disappeared, but it didn't. I made a choice anyway! I chose to make the commitment Tom was asking for. I decided that I would do whatever I needed to do to be a part of his Its Good Business Marketing TEAM.

The most amazing part of this team is the unity. Everyone is working together as if we were one. Humans live for competition, and it is so refreshing to be a part of a team where the competition is to see who can give the most to the team effort! Amazing things are happening! Our team is breaking records! How do we do it? We are all committed!

With the support of the leaders above and the team below, I qualified as a Director in the company's compensation plan this month! This is an achievement that normally takes 3 years!
